A woman with glasses and shoulder-length hair sits on a floral-patterned pink sofa in a cozy, warmly lit living room. She is smiling and wears a beige blazer over a white top, with a bead necklace. Behind her, there is a pink wall with a deer painting, a white cabinet with a lit lamp, a potted orchid, and a small plant. In front of her on a tray, there is a tissue box, a lit candle, and a small succulent plant.

Hi, I’m sue

I work with kindness, honesty, and respect.

No jargon.

No pressure.

Just a calm, confidential space where you can take a deep breath and be yourself.

A woman with glasses sitting at a table, smiling. There is a framed photo of her on the table, a lit candle in a pink holder, a vase with lavender, and a sign that says "Counselling with Sue". A pink notebook with the words "pause reflect grow" is also on the table, along with some green leaves and beige cloth.

What working with me feels like

Our conversations are calm, confidential, and completely led by what you need. You set the pace. I listen deeply. And together, we explore what’s going on beneath the surface.

Some days, that might mean untangling challenging emotions. Other times, it’s just about sharing what’s on your mind and feeling less alone in it all.

Whether we talk in person, over the phone, on Teams, or through secure messaging, I want you to feel safe, seen, and supported.

A little more about my background

I’m a proud member of ABCAP and have completed extensive training in counselling and emotional support. But beyond the qualifications, what truly matters to me is human connection, showing up for you as someone who genuinely cares.
